About CLRC

The 19th Coherent Laser Radar Conference (CLRC) will emphasize the latest advancement in coherent laser radar (or coherent lidar) and coherent optical technology fields, including theory, modeling, components, systems, instrumentation, measurements, calibration, data processing techniques, operational uses, and comparisons with other remote sensing technologies.
The conference will be hosted by the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology.

He is a Fellow of The Optical Society, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the American Physical Society and the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the Laser Institute of America.

Professor Kazuhiro Asai has been a member of Advisory Board of CLRC since 2003 and was a conference chair at 13th CLRC held in 2005 in Kamakura, Japan. He is a professor emeritus of Tohoku Institute of Technology.
